Two NSCS Members, Madison Guerriero from LSU and Phanlada Hill from Purdue, participated in the Teach for America- Las Vegas Valley & the Zappos Family of Companies Alternative Spring Break. This event highlighted young college students’ desire to learn new ways in which the achievement gap can be closed.  There were only 25 participants that were selected based on submissions.  The event took place on March 18th to the 24th.
