Are you running low on style inspiration?  Is your wardrobe starting to look like that TV rerun you’ve seen at least a thousand times?  I’ve found that the best way to get over a style slump is to surround yourself with those that are far more stylish than you.  What better way to do this than style blog inspiration!

Guy Style Inspiration:

Unabashedly Prep

As states the title, this blog mostly consists of preppy style.  That being said, preppy can also be synonymous with polished.  If you’re looking to refine your style, look no further.  Run by a Mr. F.E. Castleberry, Unabashedly Prep shows you the ins and outs of preppy style.

The Midwestyle

This style blog is run by 3 guys in their twenties that (as implies their title) live in the Midwest.  But don’t let that fool you.  Cameron, Seth, and Jeff don’t post pictures of themselves in overalls amidst corn stalks.  These guys know how to look sharp.  They alternate between posts about their individual styles and posts about where the good deals are.

BryanBoy

Not only does Bryan have great style, he also knows a lot about the fashion industry, and lets all of his blog readers in on what he knows.  He posts his personal style, and what’s going on in the fashion world like the video for Phillip Lim’s new line and lots more.

Gal Style Inspiration:

The Blonde Salad

It’s the style diary of a Ms. Chiara Ferragni, an Italian fashion blogger with a wardrobe that’s to die for.  Though most of her posts include beyond pricey items from designers like Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen, you can find similar pieces on a good day at stores like H&M or Forever 21.

Victoria Tornegren

A big head’s up about Ms. Victoria Tornegren’s blog, it’s in Swedish!  A bit of a problem unless you’re fluent in the language.  She posts pictures of her outfits though, and the pictures are enough to keep you wanting more posts, even if you don’t know what she’s saying!  All of her outfits can be summed up in two words, effortlessly cool.  Even though you probably won’t find the same exact blouse she’s wearing (considering she lives in Sweden), the individual pieces are so clean and simple that you can easily find similar ones in stores like H&M.

Atltamira

Models always look great on the runways thanks to makeup artists, great designer clothes, etc.  This blogs confirm our worst “real everyday people” fears, they look stunning off the runways too!  This blog is dedicated to pictures of models off duty.  It gives great style input on what the next big trends are, and insight into what to pair with that new top you just bought.

Street Style Inspiration:

Refinery29

Not a total street style blog.  More of a fashion go to site.  The folks at Refinery29 keep you up to date on what’s going on in the fashion world, from who’s on the cover of the new GQ to how to wear the newest fashion trends.  But their street style page is brilliant.  They feature street style from all over the country, from San Francisco to Chicago to New York.

Garance Doré

This blog consists of street style, her sketches, and runway show pictures from the French Garance Doré.  Her blog is originally in French, but she has graciously provided an English translation to her blog for all of us English speakers.

The Satorialist

This street style blog is quite possibly THE fashion bible of any street style lover.  Mr. Scott Schuman, who runs this blog, traverses the world in search of style inspiration.  His blog consists of street style, not only from the States, but from places like Paris and Amsterdam as well.

If all else fails, and none of these blogs cut it for you, head to online sites for your favorite stores.  They usually have online catalogs, examples of how to wear their clothes, or even some style inspiration.

Some of my favorites include:

Free People
