Meet our Scholar of the Week, Ashley Watkins! Ashley is a recent graduate of Southern Oregon University where she majored in accounting. She also served as Chapter President of the SOU chapter during the 2015 – 2016 school year.
Ashley loves all the ways that her NSCS experience has allowed her to give back to her community. “I love being surrounded by NSCS members who just want to give back to their communities.” she said. “Participating in so many NSCS signature events makes me feel like I’m part of something amazing every day.”
Ashley’s interests include traveling and learning about other cultures. During her time in college she traveled all over the world. “I studied in Germany first, with trips to other European countries. Then, through the ISLP and NSCS, I was able to explore down under in Australia! I look forward to eventually visiting the rest of the continents.”
