The NSCS Chapters from Howard University and University of Maryland took part in the first annual National Mach 2 College Day in Washington, D.C. on March 22nd, 2012. The chapters held an interactive “College Day” for students from the Howard Middle School of Mathematics and Sciences, and the Tree of Life Public Charter School. Throughout the day students attended panels about college life, study skills, and much more. In addition, students heard from various guest speakers, received a campus tour of Howard University, signed the NSCS Integrity Banner, and interacted with other students through numerous fun activities.

Special thanks to Tyeasha Williams for helping coordinate all the events at Howard University, and Congratulations to both chapters for hosting such a successful NM2CD!
