This spring, brighten up your wardrobe. Step away from the black! This season’s “it” colors include light coral, mint, white, and various shades of neutrals. Look for these colors in muted tones, pastel tones, and metallics.
Focus on solid colors, but if patterns are your thing, don’t fret! Go with Aztec/ Navajo patterns.
For dresses, try A-lines instead of tight, bandage dresses. Jeans take a complete 180 this spring. Instead of your usual skinnies, go for a flared pair. They add height and make you appear leaner! But pair them with a modern top or a tucked in oxford for a more updated look that doesn’t scream hippy.
This season, you’ll see a lot of sheer lace and gauzy pieces, wear them on top of basics for a more polished look.
Footwear this spring takes on a preppy look. Ditch the skyscraper stilettos and step into some platform wedges. They add height without adding pain. For a more casual look, try boat shoes, penny loafers, or simple Keds. Pair these with skinny jeans, to keep from looking like a younger version of your grandma!
Overall, this season is all about comfortable style. You’ll see a lot of looser styles, a welcome break from tight fits.
