Your mom goes to college! Well, maybe she doesn’t, but if she did, I’m sure she would invest in the Samsonite Tectonic backpack because it is quite literally the best. And so is your mom.
The Samsonite Tectonic backpack is a beast. Seriously, it’s large and in charge. There are many compartments in which you can store your stuff. For example, the first compartment is the padded laptop compartment with a soft lining. If you are paranoid about your laptop dropping and breaking, fear no more. The lining will keep your laptop safe even if you throw it down harshly.
Another section of the backpack with the soft lining is a small compartment in the front labeled the “easy access quick stash front pocket.” I call this the perfect place to put your cell phone, iPod, and keys. Ok, maybe just your keys because I know the phone and iPod will be in your pocket or hand at all times. However, if for some crazy reason you actually put your phone or earphones away for two seconds, this quick stash pocket is a good alternative. The two main compartments have interior mesh and zippered pockets for further organization. When you’re late for class, you will easily be able to whip out a pen and a notebook and catch right up.
Another awesome feature of the Samsonite Tectonic is the zippers. You don’t often find heavy-duty zippers like these. These durable zippers will prevent you from breaking the backpack and spilling your textbooks and school supplies everywhere. How embarrassing. On each end of the backpack, is a pocket specifically for a water bottle. This is highly convenient and will remind you to stay hydrated. This backpack is big enough to be a mini suitcase. You could easily fit clothes for a long weekend to go home or take a random road trip.
The thick straps comfort your shoulders and help prevent shoulder and back pain from your 14 textbooks. The air mesh padding is also extremely beneficial because it prevents SBS – Sweaty Back Syndrome. Now that you don’t have shoulder and back pain anymore, you definitely don’t need a rolling book bag in your life. Most rolling book bags are obnoxiously loud and they take up way too much space on the sidewalk. Get rid of them. Now.
The bottom line is that this is a super sweet backpack. The only thing I would suggest is to offer it in other colors because it can look a little manly at times.
