Big news! NSCS is proud to announce that it has appointed nine members to the National Leadership Council (NLC).
So, what does this mean and why should you care?
The NLC is an advisory board made up of NSCS members who advise the NSCS national staff and Board of Directors. Members serve as peer resources to chapter officers and collect feedback from their regions to help shape programs and initiatives. Each member of the NLC is chosen based on their dedication, service, and commitment to NSCS.
That means that NSCS members just like you are actively participating and creating change at the highest levels of the organization, representing the diverse member experiences including alumni, community college, and online college students.
Serving on this prestigious advisory board gives each member valuable experience working with a national non-profit organization and an incredible chance to contribute to the success of NSCS.
