Meet our NSCS Scholar of the Week, Katrina Wilhelm! Katrina is a student at American Military University/American Public University where she majors in natural science.

As a member of NSCS, Katrina’s favorite experience has been having access to the many tools NSCS provides to its members. “My favorite NSCS experience has been the guidance I’ve received. From the quizzes provided to me when I first joined to the networking platforms, I am amazed at the support. I have learned where I need to grow and have been given the tools needed to better myself and succeed as a student,” said Katrina. “I am forever grateful to be a part of such a prestigious organization that cares so much about their members. Thank you for helping mold me into the doctor that I want to be one day.”

As an amazing NSCS Scholar, Katrina is earning two degrees from two different schools, on top of being a mother.

“I am currently balancing between my degree in medical assisting at Penn Foster and my bachelors in natural science, with an emphasis in biology, at American Military University,” said Katrina, “I am also a mother, thanks to adoption, and learning to be a special needs mom. My son is the backbone behind my drive to become a doctor one day.”

Keep up the great work Katrina and congratulations on being selected as our Scholar of the Week!
