If you’re like me. Then you’re broke. If you’re broke then you need coupons, especially on a college budget.
Here are some sites that I have been checking constantly for coupons for things like groceries, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc:
Also if you buy the Sunday paper at your local grocery store or gas station, then you can get the Red Plum and Smart Source inserts.
Here are some blogs by some extreme couponers. They tell you how to get things for ridiculously cheap, but only if you have the right coupons. They’ll tell you what’s on sale and websites that are having promotions.
There are also some useful websites that give you codes for shopping online like:
- EBates (Gives you 5%-7% cash back! There’s more info on the website.)
- Retail Me Not
If you like to do fun stuff in your town or eat out a lot these websites are useful:
The trick to these websites is to not shop because there are deals, but instead use the deals for what you already planned to buy. If you’ve ever watched “Extreme Couponing” on TLC, then you know how much you can save with coupons. Although you probably won’t be as dedicated to it as they are, you can still save a lot of money with coupons.
Good luck!
