Meet our NSCS Scholar of the Week, Emma Qurashi Prithom! Emma is a student at South Dakota State University where she majors in psychology.
As a member of NSCS, Emma’s favorite experience has been having the opportunity to be involved in her community through NSCS and participating in fun activities. “My favorite experience is helping others by doing community service with other members within this organization and being involved in the holiday decorations during Christmas,” said Emma.
Honoring the pillars of scholarship, leadership and service, Emma is not only a top scholar and community service star, but she is also the founder of her chapter at South Dakota State University.
“I have been involved with NSCS since my freshman year at University of San Diego. I transferred to South Dakota State University in my junior year of college and founded a new NSCS chapter since there was not one already established on campus,” said Emma, “Being the local chapter founder is a lot of work, but it is also fun to organize and set goals for the chapter.”
For being a dedicated NSCS leader and honoring all pillars of NSCS, Emma is our Scholar of the Week!
