We’re less than a month away from Leadership Summit! Let’s break down the 10 reasons why you should set your reminders to attend on June 17 and 18. Note: Leadership Summit is required for all incoming officers and open to prospective officers.

  1. Learn to Lead: Being a chapter officer is a rewarding experience that can shape your remaining undergraduate endeavors. Leadership Summit will provide you with all the tools you need to have a successful year!
    .
  2. Planning: Find out the important dates and deadlines you need to know, from STAR Status requirements and IAP to the official dates for Integrity Week 2018. Don’t know what IAP stands for? That is just one more reason why you should attend!
    .
  3. Get Ideas: Our 320+ chapters come up with amazing ways to engage their communities every day. This online training is a source of inspiration for different approaches and best practices for our different programs.
    .
  4. What’s New?: Be the first to learn about the updated Star Status checklist and NSCS programs this year.
    .
  5. Bond with Your Team: Make an event out of the online training viewing for the entire officer board, and discuss your favorite ideas for the year.
    .
  6. Meet the Staff!: There are many people who work tirelessly throughout the year to support the efforts of your chapters; at the summit you can meet all of the Member Engagement Managers and other National Staff.
    .
  7. National Leadership Council (NLC): Our student advisory board is a peer resource for officers throughout the year. Learn their faces and get to know them at the training while they host sessions and breaks!
    .
  8. Questions?: Maybe you’ve already reviewed resources on the portal and have specific questions for your chapter. If they aren’t answered throughout the sessions you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask.
    .
  9. No Travel Required: Dress in your favorite PJs — or don’t. There is no dress code or travel required to attend.
    .
  10. Chapter Awards Ceremony: Finally, find out which of our chapters received the coveted Platinum and Diamond Star Status.
