Meet our NSCS Scholar of the Week, Shakerri Garrett! Shakerri is a sophomore at The University of Alabama where she is studying Business Management.
Shakerri’s favorite NSCS experience was when her chapter decided to give back to their community by volunteering at a nursing home during the holidays. “We completed cards with the residents so that our troops overseas would have a letter for the holidays.”
Shakerri is minoring in Italian and is spending the semester abroad in Turin, Italy. “I am completing two internships here as well, one involving tutoring Italian students with their English.”
