NSCS Officers at the College of Charleson are lending a hand to the advisory council to the Police Chief in Charleston and are scheduling a Student Police Day at the Police Station. The event takes place on Saturday, April 9th, 12:00pm-4:00pm at the station on Lockwood and lunch will be provided complements of the College of Charleston Student Government Association.
The day will have small and large group interaction between police officers and students to talk about issues present and what they can do to move forward in a more positive manner. They will even have a session putting students through a police simulator, encouraging students to learn about situations police deal with on a day to day basis.
