Yara El Mowafy studied International Development at George Mason University, where she served as an officer at her NSCS Chapter.
Yara tells us about her experience with NSCS.
Throughout my college career, my involvement with NSCS has been nothing less than great! As VP of Community Development, I was able to collaborate with many on campus organizations; our chapter co-hosted a Stop Hunger Now meal packaging event where over 300 participants volunteered to package 10,000 meals! The meals were later delivered to an orphanage in Nicaragua. Those kinds of rich experiences are why I appreciate NSCS and the students it brings together!
