Send to KindleWe’ve all heard the stereotype about the student athlete who is just in school to play sports and takes easy classes to skate by academically – well, NSCS student athletes defy that stereotype by virtue of their membership! Athletes get plenty of recognition for what they do on the court or field, but we want to recognize what they do to maintain a high level of achievement in all the aspects of their college lives, academically and athletically.
“Excellence is a lifestyle for me as I am always striving for a good performance on the field and good grades,” explains Sarah Mueller, a field hockey player at Miami University (Ohio).
It is important for NSCS to recognize our exemplary students, as well as our student athletes that excel on and off the field.
