Meet our NSCS Scholar of the Week, Madison Foeh! Madison is a student at Texas A&M University where she majors in allied health.
As a member of NSCS, Madison’s favorite experience is being involved in leadership activities. “So far, as an officer for my chapter of NSCS, I have learned many leadership skills that will help me in my future and in my career. This has by far been my favorite NSCS experience because I am always striving to gain knowledge on how to be a successful leader,” said Madison. “NSCS is creating better leaders for tomorrow and that is my favorite part of NSCS and one of the reasons I wanted to be an officer for my chapter.”
Honoring the NSCS pillars of scholarship, leadership and service, Madison has dedicated her academic career to gaining leadership skills and working towards a degree that will allow her to give medical services to children with special needs.
“I have always had a passion for babies and children, so when I was trying to decide what career path I wanted to pursue I knew it had to involve children. I am also a very loving, compassionate person who is always trying to help others. With these two things in mind, I decided that a career in pediatric healthcare was perfect for me. I want to be a special needs pediatric physical therapist,” said Madison. “I feel that this field will be one that is very rewarding and fill my heart each and every day.”
For upholding all three pillars of NSCS, Madison is our Scholar of the Week!
