Meet our Scholar of the Week, Maddie Holland! Maddie is a Junior at the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she is majoring in Social Work.
Maddie’s favorite NSCS experience has been the volunteering events she’s participated in through her NSCS chapter. “My passion is to serve others and being part of NSCS has helped me to pursue my passion,” she said.
Maddie was adopted from Beijing, China at the age of 14, and she plans on pursuing a career in social work so that she can help others like her. “The main reason I decided to major in social work is because I want to be an adoption specialist. I want to help bring more abandoned babies home and find them a forever family.”
