Meet our NSCS Scholar of the Week, Jacqueline Jones! Jacqueline is a senior at Liberty University Online, where she is a Psychology major.

Jacqueline’s favorite NSCS experience has been serving as Chapter President. “I enjoy building friendships with other fellow officers and members. Sharing events and stories has allowed me to open up a new world to leadership in my own chapter. It has been truly rewarding being able to grow with this chapter and help it along in every way I can,” she says. Her favorite individual experience was hosting Liberty’s most recent New Member Induction Ceremony: “It was such an honor to welcome our new members into this wonderful organization and I look forward to our next induction soon.”

Jacqueline is mother to a son with ADHD. “One of the main reasons for pursing this degree is not only to help him with his disorder but also to help other families with similar issues. I have found it very difficult just to find a Psychologist for his needs at his age,” she says. “Although many in this field see all types of people at all ages, many young children are overlooked due to their age and activity. I plan to pursue a Doctorate within my field.”

For her service to NSCS and her efforts to help others, Jacqueline is our Scholar of the Week! Congratulations!
