As a member of NSCS, Gabrielle’s favorite experience is being surrounded by NSCS’s members. “My favorite experience through NSCS is being surrounded by inspiring and motivating students. Some of the most educated and committed students I have met have been through NSCS. They have encouraged me to strive for greatness and helped me along my path,” said Gabrielle. “I think it is impossible to not be inspired by stories told by the students of NSCS. They have overcome great obstacles, and are contributing back to their communities through the society.”
Honoring the NSCS pillars of scholarship and leadership, Gabrielle works a full-time job while being in school full-time, and has hopes of attending law school after graduation.
“I moved to Germany at the age of 17 to become a nanny to five wonderful children under the ages of 13. I worked full-time, and studied online full-time, working towards a bachelor’s in History. I think that is one of my proudest achievements because it was so difficult and intimidating,” said Gabrielle. “I moved to Austria the year after and currently work there as a nanny for three girls while I am finishing my junior year. I have fallen in love with Europe, and I hope to attend law school and eventually work for the United Nations, or one of its partner organizations.”
