Meet our NSCS Scholar of the Week, Dillon Mitchell! Dillon is a recent graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he was a Finance major.
Dillon’s favorite NSCS experience was serving as VP of Finance and President of his chapter. “In addition, I had the special opportunity to serve as a Peer Mentor for the Spears School of Business,” he says. “This position has allowed me to help a few of our new members through their first semester as a college student to make their transition a smooth one. Because of these uplifting stories, the relationships I’ve made through NSCS are my favorite part of my experience with the organization.”
Dillon was recently honored as one of the 15 Spears School of Business Outstanding Seniors. “This award is given based upon academic excellence, service to the community, and leadership within campus organizations,” he says. “I’ve also met the requirements for the CORD service honor. CORD stands for Creating Opportunities for Responsible Development, and the award is given to graduating seniors who have completed at least 400 service hours during their undergraduate career.”
For his service to his campus and to NSCS, Dillon is our Scholar of the Week! Congratulations!
