Meet our NSCS Scholar of the Week, Danielle Petri! Danielle is an upcoming junior at Colorado State University, where she is an Early Childhood Education major.
Danielle’s favorite NSCS experience was “volunteering at a community event in Fort Collins called the Polar Plunge,” she says. “It was fun seeing everyone who came out to support a great cause and I loved that I could be a part of it as well by volunteering.”
Danielle wants to be an Elementary School Teacher and inspire children to reach their full potential. “I am very passionate about children, as well as dance. I will combine these two passions by being a school teacher and bringing dance into the classroom, as well as other creative arts,” she says. “I believe in the value of creativity and exploration, and I will strive to keep those values in my future classroom.”
For her passion for helping others, Danielle is our Scholar of the Week! Congratulations!
