Meet our NSCS Scholar of the Week, Damilola Oyedokun! Damilola is a junior at University of Illinois at Chicago where she is studying Biomedical Engineering. Damilola is also currently serving as Treasurer of the UIC chapter.
Damilola’s favorite NSCS experience has been UIC’s New Member Induction Ceremony. “When the new students were inducted into the society the joy on their faces cannot be bought!” she said. “I love seeing them and their families so excited to join this prestigious honor society. As treasurer of the UIC chapter, I love to see them happy about their accomplishment and excited to do more and be successful.”
Besides English, Damilola speaks three other languages! Being both Nigerian and Ghanaian, she speaks Yoruba, Twi, and French.
